Membership

How can I become a Secret Mystery Shopper?
To be able to take up Mystery Shopping jobs for earning money, simply fill out the Registration Form found on the right side of Secret Web Shopper's Home Page.

Does membership cost me anything?
No. There is no fee to be a Secret Web Mystery Shopper. Once you have registered with us, you will be eligible to take up available Mystery Shopping Jobs and get cash, rewards on signing up for trial offers.

I live outside the United States of America; can I still join the panel?
No. At this point of time our Mystery Shopping Jobs are open to only citizen of USA of 18 years of age.

What do you do with the profile information I filled out when signing up?
That information is stored in our database and used to match up participants with specific job requirements. We can share your information with outside sources to bring even more cash paying offers for you.

How can I update my membership information?
Please login to your account and go to “Update profile”, update your information and press submit.  All other information can be updated this way, except your email address. For updating email address, you need to register afresh with your new email address.

 Registration

I am having problems in registering with Secret Web Shopper, because it says “Your city/state/zip code do not match.
If you encounter the error that the city/stat/zip codes do not match, please write to Support@secretwebshopper.com and give us your Zip/City/State combination and we will guide you as to what can be done.

I tried to submit the registration form for Secret Web Shopper and I received the message "Document contains no data." What should I do?
Most likely, there are too many people on our server at one time. This slows down our server and does not let you register in full. Please check back in an hour or two.

I entered all my information, but am not sure if my registration went through.
You can check your email inbox for a welcome email from us. If you are able to view your registration information in your welcome email, then you have successfully registered as a member.

I did not receive a confirmation email.
The confirmation email is automatically generated after you register. Sometimes, due to high web traffic, emails get lost. If you have not received your confirmation email within 24 hours after registration, please email out our “support@secretwebshopper.com” in your safe list and write to us support@secretwebshopper.com to let us know that you have not received your confirmation email.

When I enter my email address, I get a message saying I am already registered, but I have never registered before.
Somebody may have already registered with your email address. Please register with a different email address. If you continue to have problems, feel free to email us at Support@secretwebshopper.com.

Taking up Mystery Shopping Jobs Online.

How do I participate in Mystery Shopping Jobs?
After registration, members are provided with the list of Mystery Shopping Jobs available. Upon completion of registration, members will click on the Shopping Jobs they would like to take up and will be led to the website of company providing that Mystery Shopping Job and you will be asked to sign up the trial offer.  Also based on the information available with us, we send out invitations to those members who, we believe, may qualify to take up a job when a client contacts us with a request for recruiting web-shopper.

We do not know how feedback should be provided and what should be its contents.
The feed back to be provided by you should contain your impression about the website of the company giving you job, its products and services and what deficiencies you noticed in any one of them.

When should feedback be submitted and how?
When you click on a Shopping Job and sign up trial offers, your account shows “Pending earnings” for 6 to 8 weeks. After that once your sign up is confirmed and the transaction approved, a button “Feedback” comes up in your account enabling you to submit your feedback. Just click this button and submit your feedback so that your account shows “approved earnings” against the job.

I don't have a credit card. Can I participate in the jobs?
Yes . Although most the shopping jobs need credit card, there are few Shopping Jobs available which do not need a credit card.

Do I get paid per Mystery Shopping Job? How much?
The pay for each job varies, but depending on the length, you can get paid anywhere up to $50 per job!

When I complete the Shopping Job and submit, my account status shows “pending” and also “resubmit”. Do I have to “resubmit” the whole survey again?
When you sign up a trial offer, your account will show “pending earnings” for 6 to 8 weeks to allow time for processing of the sign up and other information. Your account should show “approved earnings” and permit you to submit your feedback after 8 weeks. If this does not happen please get in touch with us with copies emails received by you in confirmation of your having signed up trial offers and your account will be corrected manually.
It may so happen that you have completed the job but not signed up for the trial offer. To give you an opportunity to sign up, your account status shows “resubmit” so that you could sign up the trial offer and resubmit the same along with the Job. This has been done to ensure that you do not take up the job without signing up for the trial offer. If you did sign up and your account still shows “resubmit”, please ignore it, but do preserve the email received in confirmation of sign up for we may need it for correcting your account later if the sign up information is not detected by our systems even after 8th week.

How do I get paid?
Those who take up the jobs and sign up the trial offers, their account status will immediately show pending earnings. It takes about 8 weeks for these pending earnings to be processed in the light of verification of sign up and other requirements and approved if found compliant. Once a member’s account shows a balance of $ 50 of approved earnings, a button “ to get paid” will pop-up ”. On clicking this button you can make a request to receive payment. SecretWebShopper will send check to those who have opted for check payment to their address on file after deducting $ 2 to cover postage within a period of two weeks and credit the PayPal account of the participants within a period of 48 hours. PayPal.com is a FREE service that allows you to instantly receive cash over the Internet. You can register with PayPal by going to www.paypal.com. In their own interest, participants should inform of any change in these particulars by going to the Update Profile page to verify that your personal information is correct.

How about taxes?
You are considered an independent contractor and no taxes are taken out of your paycheck.

Is it safe to use my credit card online?
All orders are processed from start to finish on vendor’s secure servers. Any data submitted is first encrypted, using SSL. Your information is safe and secure.

Why do you ask personal information when I register?
We ask demographic questions such as age, gender, employment and online practices to ensure we have a diverse, representative membership database. We only use this information to group our available secret web-shopper database for identifying appropriate jobs for them.

How do I unsubscribe?
If you wish to unsubscribe, Click on the unsubscribe link at the end of our Home Page and you will be unsubscribed if you follow the instructions.
